The Mod Woman Book Club Fall 2019 Reading List
This past Summer in lieu of doing a monthly book club pick I complied a summer reading list. Minus last month’s book club pick, I’ve decided to continue that for the fall season as well. While I love the idea of a monthly book club it can be quite time consuming to pick one to two books each month for you all to vote on. And then there is the pressure of finishing said book before the month’s end. What I love about reading lists is that it affords the freedom to read as fast or as slow as you’d like and read only what interests you. I feel that this season’s list has some amazing books on it. I have also added a few non-fiction books as well. I am a non-fiction reader and I like the idea of mixing it up a bit.
Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson
The Dutch House by Ann Patchett
Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
The Man Who Played with Fire by Jan Stocklass
The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa
She Said by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey
How To Be An Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi
The Secrets We Kept by Lara Prescott
The World That We Knew by Alice Hoffman
Happy reading everyone!
