My Current Fashion Wish List
This low buy month has been rough, I’m not going to lie. But - I’ve been sticking to it. And I feel rather proud of that. But the one thing I have found that a low buy can do is crystallize the things you really want vs the things you kinda want. I’ve always been good at that but knowing that next month I have 5 allotments for spending is making me want all the things and none of the things at the same time. But there are a few items I have been eyeing for months - that I still very much want. They are all high-end clothing items. Since I changed my shopping habits in regards to clothing last year I have started really wanting to invest in higher-end quality items. Preferably consigned if I can find them. By investing my money in more expensive pieces it automatically makes me buy less. Instead of buying three mid-range priced skirts I will only buy one higher end one. Bringing in less but what I bring in being something that I can have for a long time - and if I do decide to get rid of it can sell via consignment and put that money towards something else. So….this wish list isn’t cheap. And I doubt I will wind up buying all of these items. The boots and bag for instance I believe I will search for alternatives on The Real Real or Tradesy. But the other items? I want so bad! Insert whining emoji face.

Rixo London Ariana Pullover
I have been staring at this sweater on ShopBop for months. It finally went on sale - during my no-buy month. And sold out. I’m a little bitter about it. But. It is still available via the Rixo London website - at full price. So I am back to watching it and seeing if it gets marked down. And full disclosure: if that happens during one of my low-buy months I’m buying it!
*Tibi Sweater and Skirt Set
This set has been on Rent the Runway and every time I got to add it to my Unlimited shipment one or both pieces are out. I am a sucker for a sweater and skirt set and the look of this one speaks to my aesthetic so much. I would like to try it and if I like I might consider spending the money on it. The Sweater is still available on the Tibi sight but not the skirt.
*Clare V Midi Sac Woven Crossbody Bag
I am still searching for the perfect crossbody bag. A quality bag that is big enough to fit my essentials easily but not too big. Preferably in black or green. What I love about this bag is the classic shape with the detailing of the woven leather. And it has a good amount of space inside. I feel like this bag that would always look good no matter the season or the year.
Tibi Croc Embossed Trouser Skirt
Another Tibi item! I never really checked for Tibi in the past but they have been popping up on RTR a lot and this skirt was on ShopBop for ages - and just like the Rixo sweater went on sale and sold out during my no buy. No buys BLOW! I am now on the lookout for it. I have seen it in other shades - a deep eggplant purple and a bright neon acid yellow. But nope. It’s the green one or nothing.
*The Office of Angela Scott Mr. Bernard Combat Boots
My combat boots wish list is as follows: black (preferably patent) leather, lug sole - not too big but with a little heft to it, gold accents. This boot is pretty much perfect. There was a pair I saw on The Real Real by Alice & Olive that was even more perfect - but alas they were not in my size. The price tag on these is a bit steep so I am waiting for a sale - OR to find the A&O ones in my size.
