My Current Sephora Wish List
I usually have a Sephora wish list a mile long but it’s been actually pretty short as of late. I have a handful of items that I’m interested in that I may eventually purchase. I am pretty happy with where my makeup collection is at the moment and I’m not looking to add a bunch of new items to it. The same goes for skincare. So this wish list is fairly small for me.
Shani Darden Retinol Reform $30-88
I have recently debated going on tretinoin for my acne as well as for the anti-aging benefits. But I’ve been loathe to commit to the cost and the whole process of having to get a prescription for it. And so this retinol serum intrigues me as a more accessible alternative. It contains 2.2% encapsulated retinol and 2& lactic acid. Of everything on this list, this is the item I will probably purchase. It’s expensive so I would get the mini to try and see how my skin responds before committing to the full size.
Kilian Le Rouge Satin Lipstick in Devil Rouge $55
My obsession with luxury and high end bullet lipsticks continues….I almost purchased this as a birthday gift to myself but decided against it since I had already bought myself a few luxury makeup items. But I still want it. The color isn’t groundbreaking but it the packaging gets me. It’s stunning. And I enjoy trying new (to me) lipstick formulas.
Patrick Ta Double-Take Cream+ Powder Blush Duo in She’s So LA and Do We Know Her? - $34 ea.
I have really gotten into cream blushes and bronzers lately and these blush duos really intrigue me. Both of the shades I am interested in are out of stock, otherwise I would have ordered them by now. Do I need anymore blushes? No. Do I still want these? Yes.
Gucci Matte Lipstick in The Painted Veil - $42
I have really been enjoying the two Gucci lipsticks I purchased in early spring, Penny Beige and Susan Nude. Which if course has peaked my curiosity about their other shades and formula. I generally prefer bullet lipsticks in satin formulas, but this shade is so lovely and sophisticated. It’s essentially a nude with a hint of rose tone.
Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer - $15-33
I’ve been intrigued by this as an alternative on super hot days when my oily skin can’t handle heavier moisturizers. It is a essentially a liquid moisturizer and toner in one.
And that’s it. Short and sweet. I have the skincare items in my current at the moment and will order those at some point. The makeup items…meh. I want them but they can wait.
