Sephora Spring VIB Sale Wish List
I was hesitant about posting this considering the current world climate, but I know that a lot of you are like me and are tired of everything revolving around that. Sometimes it’s nice to have a little break. Having said that I don’t want this post to make anyone feel that they NEED to purchase makeup. Especially right now. But I create this post for every Sephora sale and I want to have some sense of consistency with this site. I am makeup lover and writing about it brings me joy. And we can all use a little more joy right now. Now that my disclaimer is out of the way let’s get to the makeup.
This year’s wish list is smaller than usual for a few reasons: 1 - I simply don’t want to spend a ton on makeup - or anything for that matter right now. 2 - I have a lot of makeup and am being a bit more selective about what I add to my collection. 3. The majority of what I spend with actually go to re-purchases. Mainly skincare staples like moisturizer, lip masks, etc.
Artist Couture Supreme Nudes Palette & Sugar Baby Lipstick
A palette full of neutrals? Groundbreaking. I know, I know. But this palette really speaks to me. I’m curious about the Artist Couture formula and I love the elegance of this color story so much. I also want to pick up the Artist Couture lipstick in Sugar Baby. I need another lipstick like I need another gray hair, but I’ve seen it on a few people and it’s really pretty.
Nars Laguna Bronzer Powder with Gold Overlay
Laguna is a popular OG product from Nars that they have included in their new Paradise collection. They have updated it a bit with a beautiful gold shimmer overlay. I love a shimmery bronzer and have never tried Laguna. The bronzer underneath the overlay is matte so if I don’t like the overlay I can always scrape it off. This just likes a perfect bronzer for the hotter months ahead.
Charlotte Tillbury Luxury Palette in Super Blue
I don’t own a lot of Charlotte Tillbury. I own one palette, the Icon palette which I enjoy. But I want to try more from her. This quad is stunning. Ive seen it reviewed a few times and it is really quite beautiful. And it’s designed for brown eyes. Which I have. I may also finally pick up the Hollywood Flawless Filter. I haven’t been able to bite the bullet on it yet. I keep adding to my cart and then taking it out. We shall see.
Natasha Denona Mini Retro Palette
A friend senta pic of this to me after seeing it on Trendmood’s Instagram page. She is quite a deal lighter than me - ghostly white is how she would describe herself. But the moment I saw it I knew that despite the palette being a bit on the light side it would work well on my skintone and the color story is perfection. I am a Natasha Denona fan but I don’t own a lot of her mini palettes. I own the mini gold which has a nice formula. I’ve seen a ton of reviews for this palette and all of them have been positive so I think it’s worth trying out.
