March 2020 Favorites
This month’s favorites is a bit strange. The first half of the month was far more normal than the rest of the month turned out to be for obvious reasons. But I decided to still include the things that I was loving earlier in the month with what I’ve been loving since going into self-isolation.
At the beginning of the month, I finally succumbed to peer pressure and watched Love is Blind. And watched the entire series in one day. Everything I was told was true: Lauren and Cameron are adorable and Jessica is the worst. I have been wanting to add a Malin + Goetz perfume to my collection for awhile now and Nordstrom recently had a 25% off sale on beauty. I was choosing between Bergamot and Vetiver and decided to go with Vetiver. I broke my March no-buy for this perfume and I don’t regret it at all. It’s an amazing smelling perfume. I would describe it as cozy and uplifting at the same time. I’ve even been wearing it during self-isolation. I purchased the Stellar Limitless Foundation on a whim last month and I have been loving it so much. It was my go-to foundation for the first part of this month. It wear so nicely on me and doesn’t get cakey or break down throughout the day. The Sonia G Sky Eye Set was a splurge for me but it has already proven to be worth the price. I have been using this set exclusively when doing my eye makeup and it’s been amazing. If you’re interested in investing in amazing quality natural hair brushes I highly recommend trying Sonia G’s brush line.
We went into self-isolation right at the middle mark of March and it was during that time that I leaned into binge-watching and quarantine snacks lol. I have been really wanting to try the Coca-Cola Georgia Peach flavor and had a YOLO moment and added it to my self-isolation grocery order. I love the flavor. It’s not overwhelming like the Orange-Vanilla flavor. It reminds me more of my favorite Coke flavor which is Vanilla Coke. Very smooth, very refreshing and the flavors work well together. I watched Tiger King when it first premiered on Netflix and it’s been fun to watch other people on social media discover this bonkers documentary series. This series in IN-SANE. Murder for hire, disappearances, wild cats, and a bunch of narcissists make up this story that takes wild turns. It held my attention for an entire Saturday.
