My Everyday Affordable Go To Makeup Palette
I love makeup, specifically eye shadow. It's my makeup obsession and I have a growing collection of eye shadow palettes to prove it. I purchased the ColourPop Double Entendre palette during their Black Friday sale on a whim (I am a sucker for warm neutrals). It has quickly become my go-to palette when I want simple, easy and yet gorgeous eye looks. It's got everything a girl could want: 12 shades ranging from soft neutral-toned tans and beiges (perfect for all over color or brow bone highlight),to rich browns, beautiful coppers and champagnes for more dramatic and sparkly looks. The best thing about this palette? At $16, it's affordable!
Though the colors are fairly basic and neutral, you can create a variety of looks using this palette. I have been wearing it all week. Today am wearing a simply "light" makeup look using Nip Slip in the crease, Uninhibited on my lid and inner corner and Send Noodles as my brow bone highlight.
One of the things I like most about this palette is that though the colors are very pigmented, they are easy to blend. In the morning, this is important. I don't want to spend a ton of time blending my eye shadow. Ain't nobody got time for that!
My personal faves in the palette, the colors that I find myself using again and again are Uninhibited, Extra Curricular, Draft, Nip Slip, Send Noodles and Teddy Bare.
Double Entendre is sold on the ColourPop website and retails for $16.
