12 Days of Untrieds - Instagram Challenge
In September, I decided to give myself a bt of a challenge. As I’m sure you all know or at least, suspect, I own. LOT of makeup. Makeup is both a passion and part of what I do semi-professionally when it comes this website and my Instagram. I write about it, review it, etc. One of the YouTubers I watch, Hannah Louise Poston, talked about challenging herself to use her makeup - lipstick specifically - daily. My imagination was sparked and I decided to take the idea to the next level by challenging myself to do 31 Days of Lipstick. I posted every single day for 31 days on Instagram wearing a different lipstick. It was a lot of fun and a great challenge not only for the routine itself but because it forced me to use lipstick that I had never used before or hadn’t used in a long time.
I wish I could have posted about it more at the time, but my laptop wouldn’t let me be great. I wanted to do another challenge but wanted it to be something realistic and manageable for me. I was originally planning to start it some time in November but I wasn’t in the bet head space for a lot of the month, and so I decided to push it to December.
This month, starting today, I will be doing 12 Days of Untrieds. Untried eyeshadow palettes to be exact. These are palettes that have been languishing in my collection for awhile, along with a few new additions that I want to use. You can follow along on my IG @the_mod_woman I hope to see you there!
