We entered a deep freeze here in Chicago this month and are only this week seeing ourselves out of it. It basically snowed every single day for two weeks straight. And then there were the frigid below zero temps. I didn’t leave the house for over a week. Instead I do what I do best during winter months and I hibernated like a bear. I am very good at this. And a few of this month’’s favorites helped me achieve peak cozy hibernation.

Printfresh Bagheera Pajamas

I am a cotton pajama lover. There is something just so nice about a well made pair of crisp cotton pajamas. I had these Printfresh Pajamas on my wish list since the Fall. They recently had a sale on all of their pajamas and I picked up the burgundy long sleeve Bagheera Pajamas. They are STUNNIING. The fit is relaxed and comfy - and they even have POCKETS.

Sunbeam Sherpa Heated Throw Blanket

This was a “why am I just thinking of this?” purchase. When the frigid temps hit I thought “maybe I should get a heated blanket to stay warm and cozy”. And so I did. And then promptly questioned why it took me so long to do so. This blanket isn’t as thick and lush as I would have liked, but it gets the job done, and and the cat and I have been loving it. I’m sitting with it over my legs as I write this post!

The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10%

I’ve mentioned The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% a few times now in various posts. I’ve been using it for a little over a month now and have been really enjoying it. My skin looks and feels great and I chalk it up to the acid and my focus on hydration. I only use it 3 times a week but I’ve noticed a significant difference in tone and texture.

Harney & Sons Vanilla Comoro Tea

I used to drink this tea all them time and then for some random reason stopped buying it. I can’t point to a reason why other than perhaps it stopped being readily available to me and so I forgot about it. And then for some reason it popped into my head and while I was in Target I picked up two canisters. This tea is…deliciousness in a cup. Smooth, vanilla flavor. This is my afternoon tea when I’ve already had enough caffeinated tea but want something cozy and hot to drink. I make this with a s-plash of vanilla syrup and oat milk and….pure yumminess.

Gucci Mascara L’Obscur

I received a deluxe sample of this mascara at the beginning of February and wasn’t that excited about it tbh. I had seen reviews and promo images, featuring thick, clumpy spidery lashes and it didn’t seem like my kind of mascara. I decided to try it out for funsies and now I am sad that the sample is pretty much empty. I’m also angry that this mascara doesn’t come in a mini size and now I have to buy the full size. Which costs $35. Damn you, Gucci!
